Arranged Pickup — $99 Handling Fee
If, for any reason, you decide the mattress isn’t the right fit during the trial window, we coordinate an authorized pickup through our customer service team. A $99 handling fee (covers pickup and return shipping) will be deducted from your refund — we handle all the logistics from there.
Hassle-Free Exchange Option
If you love the quality but think a different firmness level or model (perhaps a Copper or Graphene instead of a Cooling Gel mattress) would be better, we make the exchange process simple and stress-free.
Understanding the Break-In Period (Don’t Rush It!)
Patience is key to loving your new mattress. It’s common to feel slightly different during the first few weeks, and that’s completely normal. This is known as the break-in period — and it’s why returns and exchanges open after night 45.

How long is the warranty on a Black Diamond Mattress?
The trial is separate from our Lifetime Limited mattress warranty, which covers manufacturing defects such as visible indentations greater than 1.5 inches, foam cracks, and cover defects. Years 1–10: free like-for-like replacement, we cover shipping both ways; Years 11 and beyond: pro-rated store credit toward a new Bamboo is Better mattress. Where do returned mattresses go?
Returned mattresses are never resold. We work with local charities and donation networks to ensure every mattress finds a new home, reducing waste and supporting communities.
Does the trial apply to accessories like the Adjustable Base?
The 365-night trial applies specifically to mattresses. Adjustable bases ship directly from the manufacturer and are final sale. All accessories are covered by their own product-specific warranties — see the product pages for details.
Is there a fee to return a mattress?
Yes — a $99 handling fee (covering pickup and return shipping) is deducted from your refund. There is no fee for an exchange to a different model within the trial window.
