The Black Diamond includes Ice Flex Cooling Bands — an advanced mineral technology layer that removes excess body heat for 12+ hours. The Copper Hybrid uses copper-infused foam for thermal conductivity. The Black Diamond also has a Cool Titanium foam layer, a 9-Series Wrapped Coil System, and six third-party certifications vs. three on the Copper. It is BiB's most cooling-focused, most certified mattress.
Ice Flex Cooling Bands are engineered for 12+ hours of active temperature regulation. The technology is mineral-based and embedded in the mattress structure — it does not wear out like a topical gel coating.
Medium is the most popular and works for all sleep positions and most couples. Plush is best for side sleepers or those who prefer deep pressure relief. Firm is best for stomach sleepers, back sleepers, or heavier body types. Use the sleep quiz if you're unsure.
