Tufting threads ties through the full mattress depth, securing every layer in place. Machine-made mattresses use automated, uniform tufting. The Generations Luxe is tufted by hand — each point individually placed and tensioned by a craftsman. This improves layer integrity over time and is considered the hallmark of heirloom-quality mattress construction.

Yes. The Joma wool used in the Generations Luxe is GOTS-certified — the Global Organic Textile Standard, which covers both the fiber's organic sourcing and the full processing chain. This is the most rigorous organic textile certification in the world. (The GOTS certification applies to the wool component; the full mattress is not certified organic.)

365 nights from your delivery date. You must sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights before requesting a return or exchange.

Your one-time exchange is free — we arrange pickup and delivery at no charge. You can upgrade (pay the difference) or downgrade (we issue store credit). The trial covers one exchange or one return per household.

Yes — a $99 handling fee applies to cash refunds, available nights 31–365. There is no fee for exchanges. The $99 covers pickup and processing.

Manufacturing defects and body impressions or sagging deeper than 1.5 inches. Years 1–10: free replacement, BiB covers shipping both ways. Years 11+: pro-rated store credit toward a new BiB mattress. Non-transferable — original purchaser only.

The Generations Luxe is made to order. It is not pre-built or warehoused — your mattress is handcrafted in our California and Texas workshops after you place your order. That lead time is part of what hand-tufted, made-to-order construction means.

No. Its cover is a hand-tufted Tencel™ cover — there's no bamboo in it. What gets sold as a “bamboo mattress” is usually a mattress wrapped in bamboo viscose fabric; no mattress is actually made of bamboo. We make four cooling hybrids with Diamond Mattress, all made to order in the USA with the same 365-night trial and Lifetime Limited Warranty. The Cooling Gel Hybrid (from $1,199) is the entry point: gel swirl memory foam over airflow coils, Medium or Firm. The Copper Hybrid (from $1,349) adds copper-infused memory foam that conducts heat away and comes in Plush, Medium or Firm. The Graphene Hybrid (from $1,799) uses a graphene comfort layer — one of the most thermally conductive materials known — under a plush Euro top.
