Both share the same cooling system — temperature-regulating cover, Cooling Gel Swirl Memory Foam, and the Dynamic Edge Wrapped Coil System. The Quilted Hybrid adds a plush quilted top layer for a softer initial feel. The standard Hybrid gives you a more responsive surface. Choose by the feel you prefer at the surface — the cooling underneath is identical.
Medium is the most popular and works for back, side, and combination sleepers. Plush is best for side sleepers or anyone who prefers a softer, deeper-contouring surface. Firm is best for stomach sleepers, back sleepers, or heavier body types who want a flatter, more supportive feel. Every comfort level uses the same Cooling Gel Swirl Memory Foam and Dynamic Edge Wrapped Coil System — the difference is the feel of the comfort layers. Use the sleep quiz if you're unsure.
Your trial runs for 365 nights from your original purchase date. We ask that you sleep on the mattress for at least 45 nights before requesting a return or exchange — your body needs time to adjust to a new sleep surface. After night 45, your first exchange is free (we cover pickup and delivery), or you can return it for a full refund minus a $99 handling fee. One trial per household. The trial clock never resets after an exchange.
It covers manufacturing defects and body impressions or sagging deeper than 1.5 inches. Years 1–10: free like-for-like replacement, with BiB covering shipping both ways. Years 11+: pro-rated store credit toward a new BiB mattress. The warranty is for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Normal wear, comfort-preference changes, stains, burns, removal of the law tag, and damage from an improper foundation are not covered.
Use the Cooling Gel Hybrid on a proper foundation: a platform bed, a slatted frame with slats no more than 3 inches apart, or an adjustable base. A box spring is not recommended. We do not recommend placing it directly on the floor — airflow underneath extends its life. Using an improper foundation may void the warranty.
Yes. The Cooling Gel Hybrid is fiberglass-free, so there is no fiberglass fire barrier and no special handling or protective cover is required. Remove it from the box, cut the packaging, and let it expand fully — typically 24 to 48 hours. Light off-gassing is normal and dissipates quickly.
